GREENLEAF APPAREL:

Wear your studio spirit with a Greenleaf t-shirt, jacket, or hoodie! All apparel is printed locally by Soul on Fire. Greenleaf tees and hoodies are soft, comfortable, and dress-code approved for all theatre classes.

Theatre Classes

All classes: Wear black short-sleeve or long-sleeved tee shirt with a crew neck or a Greenleaf branded tee shirt with black pants or jeans. Clothing should allow for free movement and stretching.

Closed toed athletic shoes are required.

Hair must be pulled away from the face, no hats.

Dance Classes - Girls' Attire

Pre-Ballet: Pink leotard, tights, and ballet shoes. Optional unattached ballet skirt, any color
Ballet/Jazz Combo: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes
Jazz, Musical Theatre Dance: Black leotard, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes
Tap: Black leotard, black leggings or jazz pants, black tap shoes
Modern: Black leotard, black jazz pants or leggings, no shoes
Contemporary/Lyrical: Black leotard, black jazz pants or leggings, black jazz shoes
Ballet 1A/1B: Light blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes (split sole preferred), optional ballet skirt
Ballet 2A/2B: Eggplant purple leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes (split sole preferred), optional ballet skirt
Ballet 3 and above, Adult Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes, optional ballet skirt

All sleeve lengths are acceptable in class, however, we recommend thin-strap leotards as this may prevent you from needing to buy a separate undergarment for performances (depending on the costume selected). Please select a leotard style that provides complete midriff and chest coverage and add undergarments to support chest as needed.

Hair should always be out of face in dance classes, pulled into a neat bun or ponytail. In ballet classes, a slicked-back bun is standard.

Dance Classes - Boys' Attire

Boys Athletic Dance, Jazz, Musical Theatre Dance: Black fitted tee shirt, black jazz pants or slim-fit joggers, black jazz shoes
Ballet - All Levels: White fitted tee, black slim-fit joggers, white socks, black ballet shoes (split sole preferred).
Tap: Black fitted tee, black slim-fit joggers or jazz pants, black tap shoes

Boys over the age of 10 should wear a dance belt or athletic compression shorts under dance attire.

Homeschool Arts Day

Girls: Black leotard, black dance pants or leggings, bring black jazz shoes. May wear dress or shirt over leotard for theatre & music classes.

Boys: Black athletic pants & fitted black t-shirt, bring black jazz shoes.
