Summer Music Lessons:  Piano, Voice, Guitar, and Violin


Six-week session: June 30-August 10
Day and time scheduled individually

Don’t let yourself forget what you learned this year in music lessons.

This short session is also a great way to get started in music lessons.

Music Camps & Workshops

Songwriters' Session
Ages 14 and up


Do you write melodies? Lyrics? Both?
Want a chance to refine your ideas and work with other artists?
Discussion and instruction will be balanced with time for brainstorming, writing, reflection, and collaboration. Songwriters will have the opportunity to perform (or have someone else perform)
their work at our Saturday 7 p.m. coffeehouse.

June 12-13: Fri. 6-9 pm, Sat. 9am-5pm
Coffeehouse: Saturday at 7 pm.

Children's Chorus
Ages 8-12

Students will learn fun selections in two-part harmony during this eight week session!
They will develop vocal and listening skills as well as note reading exposure…
a great class for both beginning and experienced singers!

Mondays 4:30-5:30 pm: June 15-August 3
Showcase performance: August 8 at 7pm
Tuition:$90 (includes t-shirt)
 


Jazz & Blues
Guitar Workshop
Ages 11 and up

Play guitar? Start jammin’ with this three-night workshop.
Learn new skills and enjoy playing with other guitarists!

Instructor: Warren Jurgens
July 7- 9 from 7-9pm
Tuition: $78.
Prerequisite: Must demonstrate proficiency level before admission to the class.
 


Live Sound & Recording Workshop
Ages 15 and up

Off-site location. Learn the basics of running live sound and recording musicians & vocalists.
Get your hands on the equipment in this intro course taught by a recording professional

Instructor: Warren Jurgens
July 28-30 from 7-9:30pm
Tuition: $85.

Art and HandCrafts

Sewing Camps

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew?
Now you can take the first step and complete a great project in one short week!

Ages 9-12 from 9am-12pm
Instructor: Joanna Swieton
Ages 13 to adult from 1-3pm
Instructor: Meg Trendel

June 8-12
Tuition: $150, includes materials.
Each student should bring their own sewing machine and sharp scissors.
 


Portrait Drawing
Ages 10 and up

Bring a photo and learn to draw a portrait! This is a great class for beginners as well as experienced artists. Instructor: Sarah Michalak

NARNIA ballet camp
ages 7-12

Level 1A & Level 1B students will learn a dance routine based on the music from
the Chronicles of Narnia movie soundtrack.

10:30-11:30am $75 (includes t-shirt)
 


Pride&Prejudice Ballet Camp
Ages 9 and up

Level 2 students can experience the elegance of the
Regency Era through beautiful choreography based on music from
the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack.

12-1:30pm $100 (includes t-shirt)
 


Musical Theatre Dance Camp
Ages 13 and up

Have a blast learning upbeat Broadway-style choreography.
This is a great class for actors as well as dancers.

(Backyard Bible Clubs!)
Ages 13-19

Take a mission trip in your own community through Backyard Bible Clubs!

A delicious dessert theatre performance tops off a week of fun, friendship and hard work.
Become one of your favorite characters from the hit radio series,
“Adventures in Odyssey!”

Since enrollment is limited to fifteen, every student will have a speaking part.
Featured episode: “Tales of Moderation.”
